Myrtle Beach

We just got back from MB an hour ago. My advice is to not go during the summer. Holy hell. I prefer spring and fall.

We stay at the Landmark. No, it's not the best, but the price is fair, the rooms are decent and large, and it has a great pool complex. My teenagers love it. It also has a bar and a restaurant. We also get a discount because we've stayed with them so many times.

This trip was the first time we've ever had any problems, and it really wasn't the hotels fault. We took 3 teenage girls, and we had a problem with some guys talking poo to them and stalking them to the room from the pool. Security had to be involved.

Also saw that they were on the bedbug report. We've never seen bedbugs there and I always check. We've been staying there for at least 7 years.

This was said to my 13 year old daughter.

"Hey girl. Can I get your number? Do you suck dick?"

For a second, I thought maybe Grits was there. But his lines are a little more polished than that. :)

Seriously though, if I heard some guy say that to one of my neices (I don't have a daughter) I might be spending the night in the Myrtle Beach lockup.

Of course, it wouldn't be the first time I spent the night in the Myrtle Beach jail. :)

Myrtle Beach during the summer is a cess pool, unless you are a drunk college/high school student there's no reason to stay there. Stay to the north, Cherry Grove or even the Brunswick Co NC beaches and just drive the 15minutes into Myrtle if you want to go to some place specific.

I don't get to make the calls, just the suggestions. Personally, I've been going to Myrtle Beach for years, and Im ready to do something different. Maybe after I graduate, get a job and plan my own vacation that will happen. But for now I'm along for the ride taking what i can get.

PS, i am a drunken college student (maybe not drunken, but close enough)
