Myrtle Beach

I know I made one of these last year, but I don't really feel like searching for it. Any hotel recommendations? Planning to go early next month.

I used to live an hour away from there in Florence.. there was a relatively cheap holiday inn right on the beach ( I was 9 or so then though soo probably doesn't mean much now)

Probably should have mentioned we usually stay on North Ocean Blvd.

Whatever you do, check for Bedbugs...they are aweful up there!

I stay there once a week, and would recommend Sheraton or Courtyard Marriott.

If you don't mind the money, Kingston plantation is one of the best.

We stayed at the Patricia Grand last month and thought it was fine, got a good deal on bookit.com. About half a block north there is the Sea Captain which was terrific.

I haven't been to the beach in like a decade, but I remember there being sand and some nice waves out that way.

When I go I stay at the Atlantic Coast Paradise Inn it's a crappy little hotel that screams old school Myrtle Beach. I havent been back in years not sure if they updated it or not and pretty good prices.

The Prince Resort has been a good place for our family the last 3 years.

Try Surfside Beach. (Just a little south of Myrtle Beach). The Surfside Beach Resort always gave us good rates and it is in the middle of SB. Not a far drive from Myrtle either.

There is also a Holiday Inn just a mile up the road. Never stayed there, but it looks nice too.

As mentioned, Kingston Plantation - great spot and you can take the bypass (hwy 22) straight in to NMB right near this place without the 501 craziness. The Sea Watch is a nice resort, too.
