Could Anderson outshine Beason?

Fug No... But it's awesome that we'd even be having this debate to begin with. Who woulda thought this would even have been a topic. Good problem to have...

BUT

I do SERIOUSLY believe that Thomas Davis can outshine Beason if he could stay healthy. He was leading the team in tackles by a lot last year before going down... Something that most people probably didn't remember until now.

Beason is my boy.. He went to The U.... But TD is also the truth!

If our LB's can stay healthy this year, opposing offenses ate gonna hate seeing us!

They're so good that if our D line can get penetration it won't matter who we put out there at Corner or Safety... Teams won't even be able to get the ball off... And all 3 are fast enough to cover.... I'm just sayin fellas... Our starting 3 are no slouches....

Peep my tagline if you think I'm joking... As real as it gets.

I hate to sound like a know-it-all, BUT, TD is by far more talented than Anderson. IF TD is back at full speed, he is a must have.

Anderson can play, do not get me wrong. But TD is a beast, and if he is healthy, he needs to play.

There is absolutely no one out there that can replace Anderson, so the best results we can hope for would be a healthy TD, Beaston, and Anderson. With Connors as back-up.

IF TD had not gotten hurt, replacing Digggs with TD would have been a master stroke. TD is an athlete, probably one of the best on the team. Moving him to Will should have been a bonaza, until he got hurt. If he can come back, we should be set at LB.

The Lions are in the same boat, LB help is a must. Fortunately, we (The Panther faithful) are in a much better situation. IF TD comes back at full strength, we are set. Whereas the Lions are in need of two starters at LB.

Cuervo and Bud, make it so. SO.... GOOOOO PANTHERS and LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like athletes, and TD is probably one of, if not the, best atheletes on our team. IF as he says he is back to full stength, then he needs to be playing.

I think it goes without saying that a healthy Thomas Davis starts. We can put start all three, Anderson, Beast, and Davis in the same line up. That's the best line up we can make in terms of speed and athleticism. Conner instincts are better though, maybe only matched by Beason.

Love Beason, but he is grossly overrated on here.

He is everything you want in a leader and a player, but he does get caught out against the run game due to his over aggressiveness. Now this is really 'nit-picking' but to think no one could out perform him is a bit naive...

Last year we had our best results as a LB corp for some time when we had Beason, Connor, Anderson. Beason hasn't come close to what Connor did against the running game last year, but then based on last year not many in the NFL did.

I LOVE Anderson. I really liked seeing him play last year and the plays he made were one of the few things I had last year that made me smile about my team. Hard hitter, quick to the ball.

Saying that, Beason is a different machine. He is a leader, he is consistent. Beason makes the players around him good which Anderson doesn't. There is more to players than stats. I think Beason at MLB is the best option, I hope they put him back. I hated seeing Beason in the outside. Beason will have better stats when all is said and done. It is hard to say if Anderson just had a good year if if it will become a trend for him as well.

Connor is good at the MLB but he is a bit slow and after teams got their first real time watching him last season They will take advantage of that. I agree his instincts are superior as well, he is a great sniffer but I would rather have Beason dropping back or blitzing in our new shcemes and his leadership is unmatched.

Thomas davis to me is still a big ? so unless he comes back on fire Beason will be fine on the outside.

The only LB on the team better than Beason is Davis at the WLB position. Connor isn't better at MLB in pretty much any respect. I don't know what tape you were watching but 2010 is not a good year for watching LB on a team with no defensive tackles.
