Bleacher report About our panthers

I skimmed the article and didn't see much to argue with.

Which parts exactly are non-factual?

Since Fox wasn't fired I would say this part is non-factual.

The first thing that had to happen was the firing of a man whose philosophy was so conservative and boring he might give Mitt Romney a good run in 2012 in John Fox.

Oh how soon we forget...

do you guys remember sitting through those games last year? I don't know about you but there was a point where Sundays did in fact feel like a punishment. and yes last year they did put up the stats to be one of the worst teams in history.

they were bad yes, BUT it could've been worse, alot worse, take example the winless lions, the winless Bucs, the Texans in Carr's rookie year trying to get him killed, the Cowboys in Aikman's rookie year werent all that great either, and of course who can forget the Panthers team that lost 15 games in a row, that was far worse than last years. At least Fox can coach defenses up. George Shiefert was a mistake hire and wasnt as good as some thought, was this team bad yes, they were young and ineffective and the blame is on alot of guys including the coaches, SOME players and of course the owner.

Not worst, one of the worst...there is a thread a while back I think people could only name 3-4 teams statistically worse and a couple didn't count because it wasn't the same 16 game plan...etc.

i have to include the winless Bucs in any WORST team thread even if they didnt play 16 games, that team was just awful and the coach thought so too to the point that he was asked, "how do you feel about your team's execution" and he said back, "i'm all for it." they were bad statisically, but i cant put them with 3 or 4 worse. i have the Bucs, Lions, Texans and the 1 and 15 panthers over this team. at least we won games and at least Clausen wasnt sacked 76 times (like Carr was in his rookie year), that HAD to have been brutal for Texans fans to watch.

A historically bad bleacher report analysis. Most of us are glad Fox is gone but to blame him without talking about Richardson scuttling the season by getting rid of all the vets and not bringing in any free agents is surely not picking up on why we were so bad. After all his worse season prior still resulted in 7 wins. To go all the way down to 2 indicates other factors at work even beyond being a lame duck coach. The quarterback situation was certainly an issue but far from the whole story.

Plus saying someone is historically bad implies they have been bad most of the time they have existed. Saying they were one of the worse teams ever is also not close. Here is a list of teams that won either 0 games or won 1 game. Note that from a win and loss perspective the 2010 team wasn't the worse Panther team. That honor goes to the 2001 team.

I don't have a problem with bleacher report as long as the article is well written. Problem is that most aren't and this surely joins the bunch of historically poor articles.
