Possibly my favorite picture from my stay in Europe.

Recommended Posts

As some of you may or may not know, I have been in Europe for the past 5+ weeks and will be returning back to the States on Saturday. This past weekend I went to Italy to watch a friend play in the Roller Hockey World Championships held in Roccaraso. Before her team arrived at the hotel we were staying at, I met a 20 year old camp counselor who spoke decent english. He was in charge of about 30 Italian boys from ages 10-14 and their soccer schedule.

These boys were staying at the same hotel as me, and I was invited to attend their scrimmages where numerous professional scouts including a guy from Juventus were present to take names and get children into their youth squads. The picture below is me front and center with these kids!

For one reason or another I really cherished my time with the kids, only one spoke English well enough that I could converse with him. But somehow, whether by playing foosball or ping pong at nights, this was a highlight of my 6 stay in Europe. Once the USA roller hockey team arrived, the boys would chant "USA! USA! USA!" every time they saw a team member. Just thought I would share.

It's really sad that you've been in Europe for 6 weeks and this is the best pic u could could come up with... I would do way better than that with one night in Europe.

And who the hell do u think you are with all those kids??

You ain't Cam!

    • Film Room Playlist _ NFL Pro — Mozilla Firefox 2024-11-25 10-20-11.mp4 🎯🎯🎯 There were a couple of "fans" yesterday saying that this wasn't a helmet-to-helmet shot... 👀 Looks like based on where Moore was and where the play ended, he'd have gotten maybe just a yard or two more. Chuba was downed at the KC 16 and Moore was on his way back to the QB, so the offense got what they could for the most part. After reviewing the all-22, Bryce made the right call here. Tremble was the hot and KC sent both LBs. He gets it out with a clear pocket but it's quickly collapsing. If there was a little more time it looked like AT came free at the end but whether or not Bryce would've been upright still is another story. Smart move to get the completion and keep the field goal in play to stay alive. George Karlaftis is about to get himself a big ole hug and Bryce heaves it to where David Moore is going. Trent McDuffie slipped just a step or two before this shot, but we can see the clear DPI here as he's wrapped around David Moore before knocking him over as the ball gets there.
    • I’m taking a TE early day 3 Ian Thomas and Tremble are FA.  We should have no desire to bring them back.   There’s more than enough film of ball bouncing off their hands or facemask.
    • Daniel Jones sometimes would sling it for 300 or 400 yards.  That's my stance.  We know what Bryce is.  If you consistently play any QB at this level, they largely are going to end up w/ some good days/games.  last time Mahomes was at BOA, Teddy Bridgwater threw for 300+ yards and a couple TDs and the Matt Rhule Panthers almost took him down.  We know what Bryce is.  Now we got people predictably falling into a predictable trap.
