I would have to disagree that talking to a girl in Charlotte is hard because of the douche factor. For every douche guy that is uptown on a weekend night (and there are many), there are 2 slutty women that can't get enough of that guy. Charlotte may be the easiest place on the East coast for Joey Bag-o-Donuts Gotti to talk to and hook up a with a girl.

Oh, Im not arguing the fact that there are all kinds of dumb duck faced bitches downtown too.

That's why it feels like Im in the north. I look around the bar and Im like.....wait a second!

Very True ...I was just disagreeing that it is harder to talk to a girl in Charlotte because it really is one of the easiest hook up spots on the East Coast. Now if you are a nice guy and don't have the douche factor...yeah it might be a bit more difficult. For what ever reason, the women in Charlotte (I'm talking in general terms) just have a thing for d*ckheads more so than any other place. I haven't been in that scene for quite awhile now but I can only imagine that it is even worse now.

And Klong...it was that way long before the Jersey Shore came around but I am sure that didn't help things.

Downtown Charlotte has definitely changed since "they" started coming down! Which is the main reason why I try not to go there more than once every other month. It seriously feels like you are in a different state.

I even had a friend here a couple months ago who is originally from Boston, she actually said "I feel like this is not Charlotte and more like somewhere I would go out in Boston". le sigh.

Also had a large influx of Steelers fans. Which just makes me hate them that much more.

So then places with fewer women (or more men (Kling Klong)) creates more suitors and thus no matter their looks they are as good as it gets for that locale.

I would also like to add Tampa and Charleston to the list of places where this occurs.

Fayetteville is horrible.. I'm used to everyone being chill, or at least respectable.. but women are bitches and dudes are assholes.

Well I am part of the "they" group you are referring to. No not the Epicenter douches you are referring to (too old for that now) but I am a Jersey guy that's been here since I was 19. Truth be told, "They" are the reason Charlotte even has a nightlife and the reason Charlotte is prospering like it is today. Most of the bar owners in Charlotte are from the North. Take the good with the bad because Charlotte has been that way long before the Epicenter and it will only get worse.

And I'm not arguing that there are plenty of "douches" that move here from the North but who you should really be mad at are the local girls that just can't seem to get enough of them.
