I don't want to move Pep, I want to resign him...which would free up quite a bit of cap space.

I agree, if possible at this point. If not then trade him. I'm not sure last years deal is enough to get him signed now though after the Haynesworth deal. (even if it's really just a 4 year deal worth 48 million dollars)

Yeah, that Haynesworth deal scares me a little bit, because it may also make it harder to trade Peppers, since he will have to agree to a long term deal with whoever the trading partner is. The Skins just raised the bar for everybody.

Haynesworth's deal may have nothing to do with Pep's if he goes somewhere to become an OLB. OLB $$ is far less than DE money for top flight players. And how much would an UNPROVEN OLB be expected to get?
