Do you smell what's cooking in San Diego?

i would say getting into two fights with teammates is putting yourself over the team.

going against team policy and playing flag football and risking injury is putting yourself above the team.

am i wrong?

i won't even touch the whole wanting to be sent to a team that has a chance at being a contender thing.

Simple solution to the Vincent Jackson argument...include a clause that says he gets zilch if he screws up. Either he walks the straight and narrow or his contract is voided. That way if he screws up the only thing we lost is a 2nd round pick that Hurney would surely screw up anyways.

This.

VJax problems in San Diego were more about the way AJ Smith deals with players than anything... it's not like VJax is the only player who has ever had a problem in SD and wanted out.

I disagree.

VJ's problems in SD are about his off field issues, and the very real possibility that he would sign a long term deal, and get a 1 year suspension for another infraction.

AJ has no issue with VJ the player, in fact loves the guy's passion and work ethic. But he does look at past actions, and does not like to sign players that have off field issues.

P.S. Rivers wants VJ to play this season, as does Norv and AJ, but if the perfect deal came along, they will take it. SS and a mid rounder aint it.
