Nice if we stop and appreciate how we got here. What our founding fathers (and settlers) sacrificed is unimaginable to us today. Seems like in school we got the watered down version of history. We are very lucky and spoiled people. Everyone should read more history and even more appreciate how incredible this "holiday" is.

Today, we will never know courage or sacrifice like they did. This day should be a tribute to them. Another day to be thankful.

I cannot imagine their life...but thank them for giving me mine.

Great documentaries all day on the History channel about the revolution. When those bastards got to the Carolinas, they got their asses handed to them. God bless America, and the fight in those southerners.
