Maroon 5's concert in St. Louis, Missouri at the weekend (02-03Jul11) was cancelled due to heavy thunderstorms in the area.

The band was due to perform at the Fair St. Louis event on Sunday (03Jul11), but bad weather forced organisers to call the show off at the last minute.

Frontman Adam Levine posted a series of messages on Twitter.com leading up to the concert warning fans the gig could be scrapped.

He wrote, "Crazy thunder and lightning in St. Louis. Sounds like God is not in the mood to hear Maroon 5 tonight... Not sure about the show yet. Just want to let you all know that it's not our call... we will keep you posted."

There's a Kurt Warner joke in that somewhere.

Well we had the Bridgeton/Airport tornadoes a couple months ago, and the weekend before last we had a waist high flash flood. You might be onto something.

      I couldn't stay up past regulation.   Did the ref's factor in UGA's victory?   No penalties against GT until the 4th quarter and then a very suspect PI call (that replay couldn't even point out) to give UGA 6 attempts at a touchdown from inside the 10 followed by 3 more penalties against GT on the following drives.
