Any Mike Goodson highlights?

You underrate him #28. Yeah he's fumbled a few times, every young RB does. But he's also the fastest RB, and arguably the fastest runner on the team. Plus he's been learning from some great RB's the past 2 years.

If you watch the kickoff posted, 35 (stanford) was running with him almost step for step while looking backwards. Yeah Goodson is fast but I think people overrate his speed.

there's a lot of different ways to be fast. the beauty of goodson is his ability to go from 2nd gear to 5th instantly. deangelo is able to stop and start as well as any back in the league. stewart may actually have the fastest 40 time of all the panthers' RBs. sutton is able to maintain balance and keep his legs churning while absorbing contact very well. so each of them is fast in a slightly different way. all of them are useful weapons.

If we lose Deangelo, I'm kinda okay with Stewart and Goodson

Goodson is 6'0, big guy who can go get through the gaps quickly and break some contact. If he can hold onto th ball he's a great HB.

I'm way more comftorable losing Dwill over C.J.

I think Goodson has the highest top end. Stewart and Goody probably have a close 40 time. Deangelo is definitely the quickest but he doesn't have the highest gear.

both williams and stewart have clocked faster 40 times than goodson.

williams as fast as 4.40, and stewart at 4.34.

again, goodson looks fast because that's what he relies on heavily.

williams relies on his vision.

40 times often are over stated......when it comes to football speed, I think Goodson has the clear edge over Stewart/Williams. Williams at 28 probably isn't as fast as he was at the age Goodson now is.

the 6 games when Williams was looking very ordinary Stewart looked like total poo. I think it was other factors like the O-line. Even then he still squeaked out respectable performances.

So you are saying that Williams and Stewart are faster they just don't look faster because they never use their speed to appear that way. Seems like they would use every skill they have including breakaway speed.
