I like how the article points out he would have likely survived if he was wearing a helmet. Journalists can have a sense of humor sometimes.

I find it ironic that 'protesters' seem to always get the wrong side of the stick: water hoses, guns, jail, death, etc....maybe it would just be cool to obey the law...oh WAIT....aint nobody gonna tell us what to do!!!!

He should be allowed to put himself at risk as long as he isn't putting others at risk.

Accordingly people found to not be wearing seat belts or helmets should be refused medical treatment in the event of a wreck.

Helmets should always be mandatory.

When you slam your head inot a tree and become a vegetable for the next 30 years I don't want to have to pay your medical bills because you're too ignorant to wear protection.
