Another PFF article. For the past 3 years, CJ is the 4th highest ranked DE (#8 when including OLBs). Peppers is the #11 DE, #18 overall. These rankings are based on some formula using averages per snap, not raw figures. Tyler Brayton is the 5th worst pass rusher among pass rushers meeting the minimum snap requirement.

For 2010, CJ is the top DE, #2 overall only behind Tamba Hali. Greg Hardy was #36 overall, Brayton was the 4th worst and Everette Brown was 18th worst. Peppers wasn't even top 20 for 2010.

Stats obviously don't tell the entire story, but these are pretty interesting.

    • Is this the wrong place to ask?  Help me please!!   I'm taking my 12 year old to his first game.  We would like to get there early.  Are there any kid friendly tailgating areas?   Thanks in advance
    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
