At work in this hot ass kitchen

Recommended Posts

if you work in a kitchen you should already know many hangover cures just ask around. I'm surprised that you even had time to ask on the huddle!

The best I have found so far is doing an alternating hot/cold shower in maybe 30 second intervals. I have no idea why that works but it works well.

The bacon really works I usually eat really heavy food like chili cheese fries before drinking and a bacon egg sandwich in the morning. I'm always looking for excuses to eat that kind of stuff.

Really I like Cranberry juice the best over Gatorade. You'll be dehydrated but you don't need all the sugar/salt in gatorade.

Although I've never understood this kind of mentality in a way, why do we try so hard to find cures for hangovers when the easiest thing to do is to just drink less?

The whole bud light "drink-ability" thing is screwy to. Their slogan is that their beer tastes less like beer, so you can drink more beer! Genius! God Bless America!

I think like an elderly person sometimes.

I always make sure to drink a cup or two of water and eat something even if it is a piece of toast before I pass out/go to bed. It makes all the difference in the morning.

This is true. I also like to drink a shitload of water and take a goodys.

night of, i take a couple tylenol and as much water as i can take, i will also drink water while i party

if i am hungover in the morning and have nothing that needs to be done, big glass full of ice, gatorade, red bull and a few ounces ofvodka

if drinking isnt an option, then its mcdonalds, a couple sausage eggers or a double quarter pounder

set your alarm for 2 hours before you have to wake up for work.. wake up(usually, still wasted...), take 3 ibuprofen, and drink a pooload of water. Then, set your alarm for 2 more hours, and go back to sleep for a while.

A passed out (or close to) mutha fuga ain't gonna do that. That takes a bit of prep work.

    • I can only assume you never played sports at any high level or you would know the tiny bump you get moving up the draft is far outweighed by the damage you do to coaches and players whose future relies on sticking in the league and performing. Players see you don't care about them or the team success and will help you tank by giving up. Once that happens your franchise will suffer for years and develop a loser mentality like we have.  No that would be crappy advice and saying it repeatedly doesn't make it better.
    • They are worried that smaller markets would get the best new players.
    • We overthunk it.  We had a need for big #1 WR. Our coach had Evans in Tampa.  The draft was not a good value in the first with edge players, but I really think we got 2 steals in rounds 2 and 3.  I think the second round talent at edge (since Pearce and Green seemed to have baggage) was pretty level.  Common sense says you grab the Mike Evans-type WR and dip in at edge on day 2.  We went after DTs pretty hard in free agency, and the draft was deep there--I think they did this because the plan was WR and Edge and maybe RB and (rather obviously) Safety.  The key was making sure TMac was there because there were really no others like him.  ---- I dont think Morgan was bad last year; just had some bad rookie GM luck.  XL has upside, but was raw...I would not call him a bust yet--too many variables working against him.  I think he will be a good #2.   I think Coker will be our slot post AT, and I REALLY like the Horn pick.  This seems to have been their plan if you consider free agency ---re-sign Horn and Jackson--Moehrig, Roseboom, Wharton, Brown III, Jones--If the focus was WR, RB, S, and Edge, Morgan hit a home run.
