Brian Dawkins to Broncos?

I understand it, just don't like it one bit.

i dont. i dont understand it at all. it makes zero sense. the guy is one of the best players/people in franchise history and was still playing at a high level (without dawkins, eagles do not turn around and make the playoffs), and just let him walk.

it has been a busy PR week for the eagles.

supposedly, joe banner told dawks agent heres our FINAL offer, take it or leave it. he left it and never even told the eagles he was had an offer from denver.

theres a video of a phone interview with dawkins where he has to hang up because hes getting too emotional. :o

And now, this:

Eagles fire employee over online comment

The employee in question is a guy with a neurological disorder.

He was fired because he made a rather negative comment about the Eagles decision to let Dawkins go on his Facebook page.

the eagles have a right to fire the guy honestly.

is it good business? no. is it good PR? no.

the eagles dont seem to care. and frankly, they dont have to.

No question they have the right, but it makes them look thin-skinned, petty and insecure.

I agree, a facebook page is a personal thing. People are allowed to have personal opinions aren't they? Or do we all agree with everything our companies do? No it wasn't wise of him to put that out there, but I don't see why he was fired over it. If he wrote it on the work related website, I think they would be 100% justified.

yes, but they apparently dont care what people think of them. and dont really have to considering the season ticket waitlist is at 65,000 strong.

    • I just want somebody to settle into that Hangartner role and I may give Mays too much credit. He played so well early and has fell off since injuries crept into his vocabulary.  He was struggling to get push on those goal line runs today.
    • You cannot say it doesn't matter who is playing QB ever in any circumstance. The first two games of the season, Bryce was standing in the pocket with time missing throws left and right. We were running the ball well, but even the gimme throws Canales was setting up, Bryce was missing. Then you start Dalton, boom easy win at Las Vegas. By week four's end, three of our best defenders are seriously injured, center injured, 2nd best veteran WR hurt, and best veteran WR quitting on the team.  Canales is a rookie head coach, and he definitely has had some see what sticks moves. But players are being schemed open, the rookies are progressing nicely, and you have the albatross of some terrible lack of talent to phase out. I give him credit alone for pulling Mingo, Thomas, and going with the better/younger producing players. The scheme is better, he just needs better players and I am not going to write him off until he gets more talent, starting with QB!
    • I don’t want this to be another Daniel jones situation.
