Owners pushing for "right of first refusal" clause

I am all for giving the owners an advantage or opportunity to match proposals. Having the same players (generally) on the team year after year is a real advantage to the NFL. Other sports allowing teams to do all these crazy trades during the year diminishes the game in my opinion.

At the end of the day, no team is going to match an offer when they know a player wants to leave. A disgruntled players not giving 100% is not someone you want on your team.

If it's by priority and as much as I hate to say it, but based on Team need it should be

1. Johnson

2. Kalil

3. Williams

4. Anderson

5. Davis

6. Beason

it pains me to put Anderson before Davis but "it is what it is". 2 major knee surgeries are nothing to scoff at.

I'm probably in this train of thought

Johnson - he's a hot target we need to get him hopefully before he even gets on the market

Williams - he's not as hot but basically the same thing

Anderson - i think he's the biggest danger to fly for $$$, offer him something reasonable

Kalil - i don't think they want to pay a center 10 million dollars this season but at least he's not going anywhere

Davis - he'll get a better deal here than anywhere honestly. He's no worry to leave.

Beason - He needs to be extended, he's not making enough and why wait until he's a FA?
