I know a lot of us understood after the Crash trade that the franchise decided to go a different direction, but I feel kind of duped for that last month or so of the season... To think that I was pulling for us to make it and they had full intentions of not even trying to make the playoffs.

I understand it, but man, that was rough just reading it.

Also, he says:

Jackson also said he isn’t bitter about being traded by Charlotte.

“I didn’t want to be on a team where they’re going younger and they want to win three years from now,” Jackson said. “I’ll be at the end of my career. So winning now is important to me, and this is a great place to win now.”

Jackson was confused as to why the Bobcats held him out with an injury toward the end of last season.

“The last 10 games, I could have played,” Jackson said. “But they shut me down. The team shut me down. So I kind of assumed they didn’t want to make the playoffs.”

He also said he was excited to go to the Bucks because they're ready to win, but called the city boring, lol.

Well, he was a "ball stopper" A LOT throughout his time here... But, in hindsight, I'm not that mad about it because it wasn't like we had any better options.

WOWWWW Jack.....

He tried to come back from his injury and just got himself hurt again. Then he works his ass off and looks really good after about a month and a half off, and says how he cant wait for next year blah blah blah........then he got traded. Now he's talking poo? Wow.

I'm glad he was traded. Wish it would have happened sooner.

The worst thing to be in the NBA is mediocre.

That being said, it's been no secret that the Cats have wanted to trade Jackson for a while now. I think we got more for him that I expected we would.

He was a good player, but shutting him down could have been for any number of reasons. I'm guessing a big factor is that another injury might have killed his trade value, and they wanted to see more of the young guys. This team has been looking forward since they traded Wallace; Jackson wasn't going to be on the squad after that move.

I watched pretty much every game this past season and I remember those last ten or so games pretty well. Jack was in no shape to play, he even tried to play in a couple games but only played a few minutes before leaving the game.

I think this is just sour grapes on Jack's part. But imo we did good a nice return on Jack in Bismack and Maggette, esp if Bismack turns into a dominant defensive force like I think he will.
