no in this scenario the person you were supposed to kill is still alive. Dead or not your child dies too.

1) in a fight or flight react now situation, I don't see you (or any parent) hesitating to save your child, no matter what is going on.

2)as far as conviction goes, as fuged up as our court system is now. Honestly, if you have a good defense, you can come out of it pretty good.

3) what child is going to hate their own parent for killing someone to save their life?

1 - Saltman basically implied that is not the type situation here. I would agree if it was.

3 - if I had a terminal illness and a magical fairy told my dad I could live if he killed a baby.......I could easily have a hard to continuing my life with his decision. Could of just been my time.
