It's a valid question, but as I said it probably didn't change the seasons outcome. Arguably it could have made a difference in the ATL and NY games giving the Panthers a home game vs Philly ILO the Card's.

Maybe they win that game ugly and Jake doesn't stink it up in the NFCC game so yeah if all things had fell into place who knows, but ultimately the D was not the Panthers downfall, in the end the offense, and Jakes turnovers are what sat them down.

Beason's 70% is still probably better than anybody else on the defense's 100%.

that is unless Peppers decided to to play at 100% instead of his standard 50% here, 10% here, 80% this down method of havoc.

Ultimately I can't see how it made any difference in the seasons outcome. The Cardinals offence played about the same in both games at BofA. The difference was the Panthers O didn't show up in the playoffs and the D wasn't good enough to overcome all of the turnovers.

Really against a decent offence what D could overcome 5 to's?

Hell, San Fran, Philly, and now Dallas can't even overcome 1 "T.O."
