No I'm not just bitching to be bitching. For once would'nt you like to make a huge splash in free agency? Weather its right or wrong. I would love to hear the Panthers plasterd ALL OVER the NFL network for once.

I can actually understand your frustration. You want the Panthers to win a championship and in order to do this they need to get better. As of today the best way to that is to sign FA players. I won't lie, if the team had signed Haynsworth I would probably be excited right now. But I think history does prove that being a consistantly sucessful team you have to build through the draft and not over spend in FA.

Every poster on here secertly feels the same way you do this time of year. But when it doesn't happen we all look back at it and say "Okay, thank God I'm not the GM or this team would be horrible."

They always have a load of cap space which does anger me, but to go along with this thread I am also glad they don't just throw money around during FA and handcuff themselves financially for the next few years because they have some middle aged has been who they paid to much because of the reputation the person has.

With that being said... I think they make a run at TJ, but supposedly they make a run at everyone but are to cheap to pull the trigger most times. If they want a happy McNabb and really want to make a run at the SB then they will sign a big name WR via FA or trade.

We do have that extra #1 pick some team gave us last year as trade bait for someone.

I heard earlier on Sirius that TJ first visit on Monday was Seattle. They said that Philly would make a run but frankly felt that Philly's receivers were better than generally perceived. In the past they have been lousy but last year not so much. DeSean Jackson for example is a very good player, so is Kevin Curtis. The rest- not so hot. They felt Donovan was blaming the receivers for his issues and it may not be as true as in the past.

I'll say I wanted Haynesworth on the team, but not for 100 million over 7 years, screw that. He's not worth that. I'm happy with the team, I know that we will have a better defense and the same offense from last year so we should be set for a playoff run. Just need to fill some holes in the draft and a couple of mid tier FA signings.

Jake sucks. He is no f*cking gem. Diggs, McCree? Do you have any better?

Spoken like a true fan of the game.....only if that fan has no fuging clue what he is talking about.

Want to be a fan of a team who overspends in every FA? Feel free to move on down the road and cheer for the Redskins and Raiders.

You must have missed it........it was reported by most sports stations that we signed J. Gross and signed (tagged) J. Peppers.... both should be considered FA's that we signed before they hit the market.

P.S. No. I don't want to make a splash in FA if it's wrong. And the Panthers will be talked about on NFLN later........for being low-key and smart.

Every f*cking year its the same f*cking thing. We sit around and wait on every person thats good to be signed by other teams and we don't do sh*t. D.J. Hackett. We see how that turned out. I f*cking tired of it. For once can we make a huge splash in free agency.

User named "#1 Panthers Fan" creates curse-laden thread entitled "This team pisses me off!"
