if we had the cap space to be more agressive im sure we would be. aslong as peppers is still on the roster theres not a whole lot were gonna be able to do. but IMO all the players gettin these huge contracts right now are all bein over paid. we need to add a few players on the d line pick up a corner and add some depth on the oline and well be okay IMO all the moves can be made later on in free agency

Every f*cking year its the same f*cking thing. We sit around and wait on every person thats good to be signed by other teams and we don't do sh*t. D.J. Hackett. We see how that turned out. I f*cking tired of it. For once can we make a huge splash in free agency.

What a baby! Chill out, I am glad we didn't commit $100m to Albert Haynesworth who has played 16 games in a season only ONCE. Plus, where exactly are we going to get this money?

If you go back and look at the prior six free agency periods under Fox/Hurney, they have only chosen to make a "splash" on the first day it began twice:

2005 with Lucas and Whale

2006 with Hartwig and Kemo

Other than that, they usually sit back and let the market sort itself out before picking and choosing. And it has worked well at times finding gems like Jake, Diggs, McCree, Vincent, etc.

    • I just want somebody to settle into that Hangartner role and I may give Mays too much credit. He played so well early and has fell off since injuries crept into his vocabulary.  He was struggling to get push on those goal line runs today.
    • You cannot say it doesn't matter who is playing QB ever in any circumstance. The first two games of the season, Bryce was standing in the pocket with time missing throws left and right. We were running the ball well, but even the gimme throws Canales was setting up, Bryce was missing. Then you start Dalton, boom easy win at Las Vegas. By week four's end, three of our best defenders are seriously injured, center injured, 2nd best veteran WR hurt, and best veteran WR quitting on the team.  Canales is a rookie head coach, and he definitely has had some see what sticks moves. But players are being schemed open, the rookies are progressing nicely, and you have the albatross of some terrible lack of talent to phase out. I give him credit alone for pulling Mingo, Thomas, and going with the better/younger producing players. The scheme is better, he just needs better players and I am not going to write him off until he gets more talent, starting with QB!
    • I don’t want this to be another Daniel jones situation.
