Tom Sorensen on WFNZ: New CBA could be reached by Friday

I just took my lunch break, and while driving I was listening to WFNZ's Bustin' Loose with Frank & Moose. Frank Garcia said that Tom Sorensen of the Charlotte Observer said on the previous show (OTB with Brett Jensen), according to his sources, a new CBA could be completed Friday and the lockout could be lifted sometime next week...

Around the time Tom Sorensen said this on OTB, ESPN posted an article online saying that the Owners and Players have agreed to meet everyday this week...http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6711660

Hope this is true, because like everyone, I am tired of pooty threads and no football..fwiw

I think this commenter is right:

It means one of two completely opposite things:

1) They are very close to a deal (maybe even already agreed in principle) and it is time to get the lawyers involved to dot the i’s and cross the t’s and dispose of the anti-trust case.

or 2) They are deadlocked and need a break. While on break, they are sending the lawyers back in to fight over the anti-trust case.
