You can't really blame them. What else is there to say about us? We did jack sh!t last season, so nothing to discuss there. We drafted a QB who hasn't taken a snap, so there is nothing more to analyze about Cam.

They can't even speculate because they have discussed all of our needs and everyone knows them anyway.

We aren't going to hear anything more about us until FA, but even then it won't be much to discuss because we are nothing but speculation. Have to wait until the frist few games of the season before we can get anything, and hopefully it will be positive coverage.

I understand what you're saying... But they discussed all 3 teams in depth.. And then acted as if we didn't even exist... There's no excuse for that type of disrespect...

Well I did see a segment about rookie QB's earlier this morning, and Cam and the Panthers got a definite mention.

It was basically who should start and who should sit. They said Ponder should start day 1, they said Gabbart should sit, and they mentioned Locker too and maybe Dalton but I forget.

And they mentioned Cam. They said he should start day 1, absolutely. They mentioned we are a rebuilding franchise, that Cam is the face of our franchise, and that he should pick up the reins. That is what a number one pick should do.

I agreed. I want to see him start day 1. I don't even mind how he does, but he needs to also be allowed to sit and learn a little too. Give him the start, but don't act like we -have- to start him all season long.

Who's talking about hype? They did a segment on the NFC South and didn't even mention one of the teams in that division. That's just wrong. Especially when there are so many teams who do quick turnarounds these days. There are quite a few cases where last year's bottom feeders turn out to be this year's contenders.

Why do you care if they do a segment about us? Were you looking to gain valuable knowledge from the stuff they talked about?

They don't see us as good enough to waste their air time with. It's not a big deal. Wins coupled with a superstar QB will likely make us more popular but right now we honestly don't deserve it, except for drafting Cam which has been talked about enough.
