Cover 2 DEFENSE?!?

Ok this isnt the Panthers of 2002, 2003. Our defensive line is probably the weakest part of our team now and we want to convert more to a cover 2 system! Why the hell would we do that when our strength is our LB's! We need to come up with a scheme that plays to our strengths NOT our weaknesses. No Peps, No Jenks, No Buckner, No Ruck, we dont have the same D-Line anymore that used to terrorize teams.

If anything we should be using a sysytem similiar to what the Eagles use with disguised blitzing especially with Thomas Davis and Beason fast enough to do some serious damage.

Im lost here...we dont have a Cover 2 defense right now...

its like the Vikings saying they are going to be a passing Offense like the Cardinals or Saints with the same personel in place...

you should have seen this coming when we hired meeks. Johnson will be fine, brayton will be a reserve in the system so will lewis. So we have two starter roles to fill. Dt and DE
