Bismack- buyout not an issue

There was some concern that bismack might not be able to play this year because of the contract with his spanish team but on probasketballtalk.com there is an article that says he will have no issues with playing for the cats this year.

Yeah if we can find a way to get a scoring center next year (I'm pointing at you Jared Sullinger) he will be great for us. A lot of people will be wanting to see points though.

I'm not overly worried because, let's face it, there may not even be a season next year. We should totally have time to get this worked out.

Why do people point to height when it comes to positions? Magic Johnson was a 6'9" PG, I consider LeBron a point foward. Sh**, Chuck Hayes is a 6'6" Center. It really has more to do with skill set than their build. It'd be nice if he was 6'11" - 7 foot but he's not.

Sullinger's game is post-driven, has great post moves, and really can body people down low. Supposedly he's trying to expand his range but as of now he's a center. Really when it comes down to it, playing out of position is more pertinent when it comes to defense. If you play center have the game of a center but can't guard the center position, then that's a problem.

Chuck Hayes is probably the shortest guy in the modern game ever to play center, and just because they have him play it, doesnt mean its a good idea. Since when do all PF's have to primarily be a faceup 4, Pau Gasol and KG, sure they can shoot the jumper, but most of their work is done in the post. Then look at guys like Derrick Favors, Blake Griffin, and Josh Smith, none of which could reliably hit a jump shot if their lives depended on it. The fact that he is primarily a back to the basket player holds no weight on what position he should play, at the end of the day, the only undersized centers that have really thrived in the NBA in the last 15 Years are ones who are gifted defensively, which Sullinger is not.

As long as it's not at the expense of Tyrus. I love TT's game. He has an improving midange shot and is very atheltic. If he found a way to finish better around the rim he'd be well rounded starter at PF.

What is wrong with TT and DJ White at the four? I don't see Sullinger being a target.

We still need better SF play. We passed on that need this draft. Maybe because of the anticipation of James McAdoo, Terrence Jones and Harrison Barnes being available next year.
