Charles Johnson Tweets

How many times do I have to tell you that players are idiots. They are all fuking morons and have some sense of entitlement like we care what they are thinking.

Get your ass out on the field, give it your all, entertain me for 3 hours each week then go buy a car dealership and lose all your money like the rest of the NFL players who think they are anything more than my entertainment.

We overvalue everything they do because they play a sport most people wish they could play.

They are all fuking stoopid and if it wasn't for football they probably wouldn't have graduated high school.

Since when did Charles Johnson become a bonifide superstar? He has had one good season, that's it. If Peppers had the same season, it would be considered mediocre for him, and half of our fanbase wanted him gone 3 years ago. In fact, if Peppers were still here, CJ may not have gotten half of those sacks, because Peppers would have beat him to the QB half the time.

Don't get me wrong, I want Carolina to resign him, but it's not gonna destory our defense if some other team decides to overpay him, based on one season.

And BTW, Kalil was franchised because it's damn near impossible to replace a pro bowl center in a short period of time. You can create a pass rush with schemes though...it's been done many many times. Plus, we do have some promising young pass rushers, which is all Johnson was last year at this time.

Name another pass-rusher on our defense that is able to step in CJ's place?

NO ONE! damnit stop thinking it's gonna be alright when it's not!

Same thing was said about Peppers. CJ had the luxury of not being double teamed and being on the field 90% of the game. He needs some ice on the swollen head of his.

Why?

We build our players up and defend them against the national media because they get no respect then when a player wants to get paid we say they can kiss our ass and leave.

We're a weird bunch of fans in Carolina. We strive to be like the Florida Marlins instead of a consistent contender.

It's really a strange mentality.

Greg Hardy has a lot to improve on if he wants to be CJ

CJ was no better than Hardy as a rookie and he went 3 rounds higher in the draft. In fact, last year was the first time CJ was even a starter, so he still has a lot to prove as well. Even Keary Colbert had one good season, so that really doesn't mean a whole lot.

Hardy, Norwood and Everrette Brown could all probably put up similar numbers as starters. The one thing that CJ had over them at the same point in his career, was a pretty good ability to play the run. That's it.
