No way to know what the future holds. I am sure the Falcons said the same thing when they got Vick and they were a model of inconsistency with Vick.

Vick and Ryan are clearly not one in the same. Ryan looks the part. Vick, once you cut through the hype, never did.

exactly.. 2 different animals... Even Vick said he didnt put in the work to be a great QB when he was a Falcon... Ryan is the total opposite

Seriously.. Chad Jackson ?

I mean its no given when talking about drafting a guy...But... Julio put work in vs the guy most felt like was the best player in this draft Patrick Peterson... Those were great games to watch...

Like i said... Its no sure thing.. But i guy that has his work ethic and has produced against some of the best in college.. Plus the things we are hearing about the guy being outstanding in 7 on 7... Even hearing Roddy who is not afraid to speak his mind giving him props...

I dont see the guy being a Chad Jackson

I dont get how you can just say the guy is not a guy that can produce into his 30's... I dont see Roddy slowing down no time soon...

We shall see tho

Andre Johnson just hitting 30s and TO is TO... Dude is so selfish and loves himself more than anything... His body is in such a shape its insane. TO is a sure thing HoF'er, Roddy is not.

Looking at Johnson's comment, its not that bad. Nothing saying he is leaving, just saying he wants to win.

It depends on how the new contracts work out, but I can't see the team allowing him to go to a division rival. Honestly, if I wanted to win, I would probably try to go somewhere like New England or Pitt. Or maybe Green Bay.

I'm not comparing them as a player... I'm just saying guys 30+ years old producing like Reggie Wayne, TO, Santana Moss , heck Steve Smith is still a guy that can produce in his 30's... I know Roddy bust his butt during the offseason... I dont see the guy slowing down no time soon... I'm not dumb enough to say the guy got another 8 years... But i do still see 4 great years in him...

Julio should help him out also

Could Johnson stand up as a 3-4 LB... I think he will stay with 4-3 teams

yea.. I dont get why he did this.... Its not like teams will look at twitter so it will drive his price up... Teams already know what they are willing to spend on him...

To me it sound like he is just looking for a way out or to softening the blow... IDK.. If he knows staying is his main priority.. I dont get why he would tweet that

Going in his 4th year with more weapons... I'm looking for Ryan to take that next step... To me his next step should be hitting on the deep balls... The guy had 28 TD's and 9 ints during the season so he is not making alot of mistakes... He make mistakes like every QB... Our whole team just had a bad game during that playoff game... Our worst game... The Packers didnt punt the ball ONCE... Ryan dumb int at the end of the half... Jenkins slipping in the endzone on a TD pass... Our team missing 5 easy sacks... Rodgers having the game of his life.... It was a bad game all around.

If youve seen Roddy.. Dude is not slowing down at all...Dude is 29 right now.. Lets not act like the man is just anciet... Look at TO producing way past 30... Reggie Wayne is going on 33 producing... Andre Johnson is going on 30 next month.. I dont hear any one worried about him slowing down.... Roddy should have atleast 4 seasons of his top notch play... Julio the 22 year old (the reason why we mad the trade) should also help Roddy out big time...

I love Turner but RB's are very replaceable... Even good ones... I still think he has more years left in him... Especially with us looking like we will become a more "Ball in Matt Ryan hands" team (not the (3oo+ carries).

Tony Gonzalez is a good TE... He is not the old Gonzalez tho.. His leadership would be the biggest thing missing but Matt Ryan is the unquestioned leader.

Atlanta's defense is the problem, particularly the secondary.

I agree about Vick, but we didn't know that in year two/three of his career. My only point was that we don't know how things will go with Ryan and Atlanta. So far, he looks like he will be a very good QB, and I wish we had him. But there are no guarantees that Atlanta will be a contender for the next several years or that Ryan will be as good as most think he will. Just look at San Diego. They have one of the best QB's, and while they are a contender on paper every year, they have had only one good season in the last three. I doubt they will be a serious superbowl contender until they make a coaching change.
