Could be wrong, but I thought the tag meant they get an average of the top 5 salaries at the position. I am not sure how large of a disparity there is, but I don't think a C is going to make as much as an LT at all. I would probably bet that the highest paid center makes less than Jordan Gross did last year.

I don't disagree that CJ is more of a flight risk than Kalil is/was, though. I hope CJ stays, but with every other player that has come and gone throughout the years, if you don't want to be here, then show yourself the door.

The Tag for a center is at the avg of the 5 highest paid Offensive Linemen...not just Centers.

CJ is going to get a damn good offer from the Panthers, likely very tough to pass up. I have a feeling it could be the highest, though we may never know. If he leaves it will be because he wanted to leave and thought his chances to win would be higher on another team. I just don't see another team forking over as much cash as we would for him. Our staff is going to do whatever we can within reason and logistics to have him in a Panthers uniform next season.

If he was playing LB... Maybe ill buy that but dude... A DE only have so many assignments... Plus you want your best pass rusher to rush as much as possible... In dallas 3-4 system.. Ware drop back in coverage only 6 times out of 1000+ snaps.... You rush your best pass rushers.

I know you guys dont like my Falcons but we went thru the same thing around the 07 season... Sometimes you will lose good players who want to win now when your team is going thru a rough patch/ rebuilding.

It happens... You guys rebuild your team into winners.. Players will come (and want to stay)
