signing all of our UFAs

Cam Newton(even with the cap)

extending Jon Beason

Barry Coefield

bye bye 70 million dollars. I hope we front load all of those contracts too. Cap heaven. Richardson's salary purge sure sucked but hopefully we forget about that quick and win games again.

Kalil $6m a year

CJ $8m a years

Newton $5 a years (rookie scale)

Beason $7 a years

Coefield $6 a years

Misc $5m a years

Over $30m left... Who do u want?

It's ok, hopefully we can throw nice amounts of money at them and retain our core like the FO says we'll do. We'll have a short period of time dedicated to re-signing our guys before FA actually hits, and it sounds like most of em wanna stay...

Not even close.

Kalil will be paid at least 8 million a year (wharton got 6 million a year 2 years ago)

CJ will get right at 10 million a year.

Williams will be resiged at 6 million a year which already beat the hell out of your miscellaneous.

Beason if he signs this year will get at least 8-9 million per year and the miscellaneous combined will be closer to 10 million. When you add in rookies for another 10 million combined- you end up with 44 million not including Beason., Cofield or any other free agent

Also note you are talking cap numbers and what I read earlier was that the 90% would be cash or salaries paid not cap space. So actually signing bonuses paid out in the year the contract was signed is what would be added to the 70 million to total up to the 140 million not cap. And from what I can tell Richardson will spend 80-100 million in signing bonuses just to sign his core group of young players and his rookies.

If we gave Matt Moore 4m a year I would personally slap Hurney in the face.

We already tendered him for over 3 so paying 4 million sounds about right. Given the average salary for quarterback starters is over 10 million in the league, that is still a deal given he is an injury away from starting.

a rfa tender for 3m when we thought he could possibly be the future at QB is one thing. Giving a 4 mil a year deal for 4 years is another.

The only thing guaranteed is the signing bonus. As long as you make that less than 4 million, even if you cut him after this year, you are out very little.

No way we gonna pay that much money. Almost 10m a year for a center? Wharton plays both G and LT. Beason maybe 9m. CJ is not worth 10m a year. So you say center will get more money than top RB in his prime?
