It's not really an issue of whether he wants to be here or we want him here. It's either get a long term deal done or ship him off. 16.8 million in one player is going to choke the hell out of this team.

I would not be surprised if a trade has been in the works the entire time. I could even see a couple of teams like Houston and Denver being involved right off the bat. This cap number is just way to low for this to be the plan moving forward until the draft.

only way and the only i would trade pep is if we figure some kind of deal with either Cleveland,gb,titans,or any team willing to give up a 1 and second.

ONLY if we give him up for less than what we want.

1. Right now teams know we are Cap Tight so until Peppers is gone we cannot play in the market. The longer we wait the slimmer the pot gets with Free Agents.

2. Peppers has limited teams who we can trade him to so they will low ball us knowing we cannot work out a deal with a team of our choosing.

Our ONLY leverage is a telling a lie, telling one team we are getting close to making a deal with another team. With only 4 to work with. Not too hard to verify.

yea i recall ward running to peppers side instead of straight up the gut,you play as a team just like you lose as one.lets not try throwing people under the bus because if that's the case get ready to throw the rest of the team under as well.

All I said was watch our run defense improve with out him on the line. That's all I said. Don' t use the NY game either, we were down both dt for the last bit of that game and thats when they got most of the yards. and we down kemo to begin the game. With that said, brayton's good in run defense (not so much in pass), Kemo is really good in run Defense(not so much in pass), Lewis is ok at both run and pass, Peppers is good at pass and ok at rush.

The past few season's when he was the left end they ran at him and got big chunks of yards.

Maybe you should go back and watch tape from 05 -07 game tapes and watch teams run at him with success.
