Realistically, what would be a draft you're happy with?

Now see why would we take him over Valanciunas?

First off, I think he'll be gone by then. But I think I would still take Morris over him mainly because he is less of a risk. Kanter is the only big man that I would take with full confidence. I like Biyombo and Jeremy Tyler as bigs but at 9 Morris is someone who is more of a sure thing. He can play 3 or 4, but really wants be considered a SF. He has a nice mid-range game and can rebound fairly well. I have always heard he is a big trash talker, which can be a good thing but he can't be getting too much into that as a rookie. And I am sure the buyout situation with Valanciunas will make some teams hesitant. Also, he didn't workout for anyone, if I am not mistaken.

I will be stunned if Valanciunas isn't there at 9, it should go something like this.

1-Irving

2-Williams

3-Knight

4-Kanter

5-Biyombo

6-Leonard/Vesely

7-Walker

8-Leonard/Thompson/possibly Valanciunas

Idk where he would go, and I know the buyout issues but: 1) Not like we're gonna be competing for the title next year anyways. 2)this lockout sounds nasty, i highly doubt there are 82 NBA games next year 3) staying overseas to polish up his game for a year?...i don't see anything wrong with that.

And how is Morris a safer pick than Singleton? At least with Singleton you know you're getting a stud on defense, idk why everyone is saying Morris is a "safe" pick?

How is he overrated? I know this is a CBB discussion but if you don't think he wasn't a fabulous player than you are out of your mind. He was first-team All-ACC three times (?) and was the MOP of the 2010 NCAA tournament. He has been one of the classiest players in the game over the past few seasons, stayed all 4 years when he could of been a lottery pick last year...the list goes on and on. Singler was great for the game of college basketball and one of the best player to ever play in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The list of his achievements is never ending, he had a bad senior year but that still doesn't mean he wasn't one of the best players in the nation.
