Realistically, what would be a draft you're happy with?

9: Marcus Morris

A few weeks ago I was completely against taking Morris here, but the more highlights I watch the more I come to like him. He seems good at getting offensive rebounds and isn't afraid to go back up with it. I've also seen him operating from the top of the key some and he has a smooth jumper. He could be a nice, versatile player for us.

19: Marshon Brooks or Shelvin Mack

Brooks if he's there, but with how he has been performing as of late I think it's 50/50. We need an energetic scorer coming off the bench to provide a nice backup behind Hendo.

I wouldn't mind a Euro center either or Tristan Thompson at 9. Obviously if Kawhi Leonard is there we grab him but that is highly unlikely. I like Morris's versatility a lot, I didn't know he played like that honestly.

I don't want Morris, he is too much of a tweener between the SF and the PF, those guys are really hit or miss and Morris isn't some sort of freak athlete where he can just overcome it. I digress, here is what I would be happy with...

9: Klay Thompson, Chris Singleton, Kawhi Leonard, trade down and get more picks

19: Kenneth Faried (i love this dude, rebounding translates to the NBA), Nikola Vucevic

I've kinda changed my overlook on things the past few days.

If Kemba falls to 9, you take him. I know DJ was good last year but you don't pass on a player like Kemba Walker if he falls into your hands at 9. Remember when we took DJ (who LB wanted) over Brooks Lopez? That was a huge mistake even though PG may of been a bigger need at the time. I will rage if Kemba falls into our hands and we still don't take him. If Leonard falls, you take him.

Other than that, Singleton over Morris for sure.

His speed is tremendous which makes up for his small frame.

So is DJ Augustine and DJ is twice the shooter that Kemba is.

Meh, I just don't want any 6-0 tall point guard. Kemba would be an incredibly explosive 2 Guard if he were 6-4 or taller. But he isn't. He is a 2 Guard trapped in a PGs body.

“First, I want to see if a player’s skills match his NBA position,’’ Higgins replied.

UCONN, despite winning it all last year, was 63rd overall in scoring and 157th in scoring. I don't want the man running the 157th best college offense running an NBA offense.

Kemba's skills don't match his NBA position. He won't be a Bobcat.

Uconn was not 157th in scoring last year, they were 74. Why are you just making stuff up to hate on Kemba??

That was an error on my part. They were 157th in assists not scoring as I incorrectly stated. However, 157th in assists is further proof that Kemba isn't going to make it as a PG in the NBA.

You are conveniently forgetting the point that UConn had virtually no other offensive weapons for which Kemba could have dished to.

he was forced to be the ENTIRE team....and won a championship doing it.

The Bobcats are in the most interesting situation. They are are actually trying to package picks Nos. 9 and 19 to move up a few spots to get a shot at drafting Leonard. However, if Leonard is off the board the Bobcats may be inclined to do a deal with Houston or San Antonio.
