Realistically, what would be a draft you're happy with?

Minn is trying to trade the Number 2 pick. I would give up the 18, Thomas and a first next year for Williams...you guys need a scorer and Jordan will be there at 9..Jordan and Derrick Williams plus a Big in the 2nd would give you guys an epic draft, plus you get rid of Thomas and that hideous contract..

No. We need Thomas. Diaw and/or Jax however, I would go for. Give 'em Jax, 19, and a first next year for Williams. If not, work out something for Beasley.

Well you have to look at what positions we need. SF and a legit Center.

Here is my rankings.

Wing- Kawhi Leonard, Jordan Hamilton and Chris Singleton. Jordan is much more of a scorer than Singleton so he gets the nod.

Centers- Bismack, Nikola V. and Keith Benson. Benson looks like Ajinca though. Lanky and finesse. That is why Bismack and Nick V is my picks. Both play big.

Woah Bobcat fans don't like Jax? He is a 20 8 guy. NOBODY wants Boris. You're probably stuck with him, thats why trading Thomas is more likely. You really need to dump several of those scrub big men you have..

Dude, stick to the Hawks. Boris will be a HUGE trade asset next year at the deadline, esp since he is an expiring and he can still contribute on O and D.

I'm not a Boris fan really but someone will certainly trade for him if we do decide to move him.

Boris has as much trade value as anyone on the team right now. Potentially DJ and Hendo (probably not with a bum hip) have more trade value.

Coaches absolutely love what they see of Boris on film. They also think they can coach the lazy fatassness out of him. For that reason, look for the Bobs to get really good offers for Boris next season.

I really don't get why people think the Bobcats should trade Ty Thomas. If you extrapolate his stats over 34 minutes a game which he would be likely to play if he essentially switched spots with Diaw, he would average around 16-18 Points, 7-9 boards, 2-3 blocks, and roughly a steal a game. If paying someone 7 Mil a year to do that is a "hideous contract" then I would love to see a good one.

Tyrus would foul out or get benched for stupid turnovers way before he reached 34 minutes a game.

The problem is paying a bench energy guy 7 mil a year.

I think the Cats will end up using Diaw in a trade for someone, but Im not going to predict the trades. Im gonna roll with what we have and assume no trades will be made..

I would LOVE a draft class of Chris Singleton and Jordan Hamilton. I KNOW we need bigs, but put the puzzle together one piece at a time. Ive heard rumors Singleton to the Cats at 9 and heard other rumors that Hamilton could be there at 19. This would give us a pretty good 2 deep at the PG, SG, SF, and PF positions.

PG - Augustin - Livingston

SG - Henderson - Hamilton

SF - Jackson - Singleton

PF - Diaw - Thomas

C - Diop(?)

Now we can sign some servicable centers and go into next years draft and FA class(Howard) with a pretty talented team IMO.

I dont think this is what we will see though.

I wouldn't be against that. I would also be down for resigning Kwame and and giving Chris Kaman (clippers) a chance to start over fresh here. I know injuries have plagued him lately, but when healthy he is very productive. IF he comes at the right price I would be happy.

At the same time though, if Vucevic is available at 19...bobcats shouldn't hesitate a second..imo.

Makes about as much sense as this:

Not really i'm not trading two 1st round picks for Singler.

I think Singler would be a great pickup at 19. Great size and range for an NBA small foward. Outstanding work ethic and a good handle with the ball. If he had played anywheres else besides Duke you guys would be all over him.

Jackson and Singler would make a pretty good combo.

I wouldn't be upset with singler at 19, but I feel that singleton is almost a sure bet at No. 9 according to Chad Ford and Rick Bonnell. If thats the case the bobcats for sure should look at Marshon Brooks to help with scoring or Vucevic to help with issues at Center. IMO
