Realistically, what would be a draft you're happy with?

19) SF Kyle Singler

Rick Bonnell was on Busting Loose with Frank and Moose (WFNZ) yesterday and said the cats really like Singleton (F-FSU), Brooks (G-Prov), and Vucevic (C-USC)..fwiw..Singleton paried with Hendo would make one of the best defensive shooting guard/small forward combo's in the league...

....but Bobcats need offense.

Klay Thompson #9

Nikola Vucevic # 19

could live with that

9: Marcus Morris

A few weeks ago I was completely against taking Morris here, but the more highlights I watch the more I come to like him. He seems good at getting offensive rebounds and isn't afraid to go back up with it. I've also seen him operating from the top of the key some and he has a smooth jumper. He could be a nice, versatile player for us.

19: Marshon Brooks or Shelvin Mack

Brooks if he's there, but with how he has been performing as of late I think it's 50/50. We need an energetic scorer coming off the bench to provide a nice backup behind Hendo.

I wouldn't mind a Euro center either or Tristan Thompson at 9. Obviously if Kawhi Leonard is there we grab him but that is highly unlikely. I like Morris's versatility a lot, I didn't know he played like that honestly.

Morris has fallen to #17 on the Big Board, if we take him at 9 the whole FO should be fired!

9: Kawhi Leonard or Chris Singleton

19: Marshon Brooks

I'm a Hawk fan, but I get stuck watching your mediocre team play every night, so I'll give my opinion. You need a scorer in a bad way. You need a legit big. I like Thomas. People hate him, but he is still raw. I think you really need to consider trading Jax and Boris on draft night before the lockout. Get a legit SG (Monte is on the block). I like Augistin but he needs help. Like I said, your front court is pathetic. Draft Jordan Hamilton at 9. He should be there. DO NOT TOUCH Kemba is he is there. MJ seems to shy away from hype anyway. DO NOT TOUCH JIMMER. At 19 you take the best available center. No swingmen. No shooters, no combo guards, no PF's, a CENTER. This draft is loaded with good bigs. Take one. Anyone, make him work.

Minn is trying to trade the Number 2 pick. I would give up the 18, Thomas and a first next year for Williams...you guys need a scorer and Jordan will be there at 9..Jordan and Derrick Williams plus a Big in the 2nd would give you guys an epic draft, plus you get rid of Thomas and that hideous contract..

I would trade whatever it took for Williams, unfortunately, our FO wouldn't.

I really don't get why people think the Bobcats should trade Ty Thomas. If you extrapolate his stats over 34 minutes a game which he would be likely to play if he essentially switched spots with Diaw, he would average around 16-18 Points, 7-9 boards, 2-3 blocks, and roughly a steal a game. If paying someone 7 Mil a year to do that is a "hideous contract" then I would love to see a good one.

In my opinion if Minnesota is set on trading that pick, I would personally love to see the human black hole that is Stephen Jackson be offered plus our #19 and someone like Diaw(If Minnesota wanted to start Johnson at the 2, Jack at the 3, Beasley at 4 and Diaw off the bench as the 6th or 7th man, would help their O considerably.) Minnesota is looking for a good defensive big man, which we dont really have, but I dont know what ones they are looking at to move for especially since the Wizards said they are not trading Javale Mcgee. They could be tempted by this trade bc it would give them a 20 PT scorer/vet in Jack, better frontcourt depth for a year bc of Diaw's expiring contract, and a Mid 1st round pick which essentially like having a top 10 pick bc most of the talent is pretty level from 8-20.
