Having a yard sale in the morning...

I just did one two weeks ago... We made 150 bucks off of shyit that I was gonna throw out. It was a pain in the ass though, and no matter how much I help that devil of a woman she's so damn ungrateful!

It was a gorgeous am and I had been wanting to go golfing with the guys, but knowing there could be some "strike" in my future, I stayed and helped her. It was a horrible experience and I will NEVER participate in another one ever! We did make 150 though...

We had a neighborhood version last week. The wife and I are trying to buy another house and we pulled everything out of the basement after she spent the better part of a week reorganizing every closet in the house...

$800 profit and only made 2 trips to the Goodwill...

I can beat that. I have a giant black velvet painting of a 70's sister with a huge 'fro curled up with a black panther. Beyond priceless.

The results are in....we walked away with $303.50 pure profit baby!!! There were 3 other couples who bought their stuff to our house, so there was alot of stuff. We actually packed up the remaining stuff around 11:30 and made one trip to Good will. The crazy thing was, none of the stuff we sold was of real value, most of it was stacked in our soon-to-be nursery and was going to Goodwill anyways. I ended up getting rid of about 75% of it, got $300, and still got receipts from Goodwill all before noon....Not too shabby for an overcast Sat morning!
