Overrated/Underrated Players

I dont' think Shockey is overrated......I don't think anyone considers him an elite TE. He is a vet that can do it all and gives us a solid starter at the position.

Gamble is one of the most underrated players on the Panthers roster, maybe even in the NFL.

I would agree with Anderson and Shockey though.

Gamble has been one of the most overrated since he signed his last contract.....he got paid like a top tier CB.

Yes, Gamble might be overrated money-wise, but that is it.

You never hear anyone talk about his stats, his contract, anything. That is how he is underrated. He makes plays every year, and is a solid CB.

:confused:. Gamble "Mr. Two Hand Touch" a vet that John Fox would even bench. He needs to step it up for real. Captain played way better than him. Even Marshall showed he was willing to tackle a guy. Gamble gives guys 10 yards of space every play because he's so scared of getting burned. I waited for him to show his worth now I'm looking forward to Brandon Hogan and others to fill the void.

Interceptions for td, no but to think he doesnt have an impact - filling in lanes, pressuring qb's, not missing tackles, etc... he makes an impact.

I could pull statistics for linebackers from prior Ron Meeks' defenses to point out the other marginal starters that have racked up big numbers in his defense, but what's the point amongst the homerism in the Huddle.
