I think we went for two more than once. In fact, if memory serves, had we just kicked for one after each td, AV's fg would have just tied the game.

That issue seems to be as much the reason we lost as Kasay's kick but somehow he gets the blame and Fox's boneheaded insistence to go for 2 and miss it repeatedly isn't even mentioned. I am sure I could find other instances where folks messed up as well. So again to blame a team loss on one play makes no sense.

Kasay will be forever remembered as a Panther. I don't blame him at all for the kick off in the superbowl, or missed field goals. He is a consistent, clutch, and a stand up person. He has never made the Panthers franchise look bad, or done anything detrimental to the team off the field.

It is amazing that he is still with the Panthers, and looks to continue playing.

Concerning the super bowl, the better team won that day, concerning Kasay, he should go into the Panther's ring of honor. IMO.

Considering how long he's been playing and the numbers he still puts up, he's the best kicker ever to play in the NFL. Don't agree? Well you haven't looked at the numbers of just about all those considered great and compared them to Kasay like I have. You have some great ones that are good from long range, but aren't as good short range. Also, those good from long range, still haven't attempted as many as Kasay has or made as many as Kasay has. You also have some great ones that are good from short range, but not as good at long range (or have only attempted a very small amount). Kasay is one of the great ones that is good at both. As well as attempted and made many kicks from long range. And also has done this for many years. Which to me makes him the greatest kicker of all time. Followed by Jason Hanson.

Kasey is a great guy, and great player.
