Called book smart... I know many people that had almost perfect GPA in college yet lack common sense.

That may be true, but I'd sooner trust someone with the proper education helping me with my health than some witch doctor in an herb shop who's only taken feel-good hippie classes at the learning annex taught by someone with no degree and no business screwing around pretending to be an expert on anything other than the proper use of a gravity bong.

Yeah, as long as my doc has street smarts I know I'm good to go. :rolleyes:

Our man in Amsterdam has it correct.

The bottom line is, you need to take control of your own damn health and use doctors as a resource, not a wishing well in which you abandon your ownership of your own well being.

This includes prescription drugs, as well as following up with said doc on the efficacy of the Rx for your case so that changes can be made prn.

Not street smarts... Some doctors ignore early signs of serious illness. They do not take that extra step. While working in the pharmacy I've seen many of our patients die cause of doctors carelessness. I agree with everything you said but you also need to realize that some doctors, pharmacists,and other highly educated people are not all that smart.

They are also the folks that are tasked with being right 100% of the time, and as early as possibly, as you state.

How many people have the brain and the stones to pull that off?

Not many, and it aint easy.

      No team in the league would sit back and say Mays outplayed Hunt or Lewis so its a typical case of stats (or ratings) not telling the story. The team also was in a much better position at the end of the year, where the begging was very rough all around. Everyone was learning the new scheme, calls, learning how new teammates played in real games and all of that changed the second half of the year. We started getting actual production from the run game and receivers and everyone’s play changed from the beginning of the year.   As a side note Mays goes down or another linemen who is coming in? We have zero depth and Brady Christiansen will be hitting free agency to be a starter elsewhere.  With as many holes as we have it makes sense as long as it’s team friendly deal. I’m not opposed to drafting someone as well, but we know what we are getting from Corbett when healthy and he’s above average playing multiple positions. Maybe they have it as an open competition between him and Mays, loser is the prime backup for G and C
