Pot is legal in NC. Not in the city's of course(unless you count Asheville and Boone). Just move to the hills and see if anyone cares if you have a plant or 2 in the woods. The problem is you/I live in the city where the gov'ment likes to make court money off teh grass.

.5 oz- 1.5oz is a misdemeanor

Anything over a half oz is a felony

don't smoke weed unless you want to risk it on your criminal record... no matter how small of an amount/how little you think it will get you in trouble...

if you want to risk it, go for it!
