they make all kinds of poo.. my dad was even considering this device that posts up on top of a hole, when they come out, it spears them in awesome fashion.

Yep...We had mole problems in our backyard as a kid. Spring loaded spikes worked like a charm. You don't have to wait for them to come up though...you just find an existing tunnel, flatten the tunnel only in the section you are placing the trap, set the trap, mole comes through, spike go down.... mole kabob within 24 hours.

Is remember waking up early so I could go check the mole traps before school each day.

When I was younger, we put those wind flower things up, apparently they hate the vibrations it causes to the ground and they were gone pretty quick.

Of course this strategy involves making your yard looks that much more tacky.

I over heard some old men talking at the feed store that you need to put a half a stick of juicy fruit gum in each hole, typically they have several exits.

Seriously, I dumped a can in each hole and they either went away or died in no time.

Don't really care which, but I understand that some folks have issues with poisons.

between my two dogs, the neighborhood cats and all the coyotes at night, moles and mice and other creatures don't seem to be a problem here!
