When Fox returns to Carolina...

JR tied his hands the last year, and Hurney turned his back on him....when all you have is a good second string quarterback who we all cringed at week to week as far as who was going to show up, Fox did a better than average job over the course of his career. He worked here, lived here and is well liked by the players. He made mistakes as hasevery other coach in the league, and very few lasted as long as he did and landed another head coaching gig.

I believe how the rotation works. It will be in Denver. In 2008 we played Denver week 15 in Carolina so it should be away.

For all the meatballs who think they know football so much to bash a coach who has respect in the league like he doesnt even hardly know football, that one little detail seems to be missed by them all.

Why would I boo him? He wasn't the one out there on the field sucking. Yes, he was one third of the group of men that put the team together, but he's not the sole reason this team has never been great.

I agree with what he has accomplished here.. however, he has made dumb decisions and most of the time was too hard-headed to make any changes.. I don't agree that "everyone makes mistakes", when you couldn't get over the hump because your philosophy is "we will win by executing MY gameplan" only.. the NFL is much too competitive to not adapt to the game.

As much as I couldnt stand Fox last season, I would give him a standing O. He got this franchise to the Super Bowl and almost won it. He did some awesome things here and the ending was ugly but bottom line is Ill always be a Foxy fan. Just glad hes not our coach b/c it was obvious he couldnt coach young talent like the organization wanted.

I might be the only one..but ill stand up and cheer for Foxy, but after the game starts, ill be laughing at the three and outs.

I liked Fox. He was a decent coach, save for last season. He was reliable, and you always felt like the team had a chance of winning.

Injuries were a huge part of his losses. But his time is over and I hope Cam knocks him out with a ball to the sidelines.

did you really? because most Sunday's I felt that we would blow a lead or never do enough to gain a lead.

the lack of ability to make a halftime adjustment were always killer for me.

jake saved his butt quite a lot in 4th quarters.

If you take out this season since it was completely JRs doing and wishes, he's 71-57. There are a lot of things to look at with W/L.

Everyone is praising Rivera already because he acts like Mike Singletary but that doesn't always get results.

I likely won't do anything because I'll be at home in my man room watching the games so I'll crack open another beer, put in another dip, and hope for the best.

Fox is a better coach than Carolina gives him credit for.

The halftime adjustments was the one thing that really bothered me about Fox but a lot of that goes to personnel and coordinators.

The man had a simple plan to win. Run the ball and play defense. With a good team it works, with a gutted team it doesn't.
