More tarp covered stadiums

The blackout policy, however, poses another hurdle for teams. Many clubs that struggle to sell out in the days before a home game frequently cut deals with sponsors to sell the tickets for less than face value. Often, the team itself buys the tickets back for less than face value to ensure that the game is televised locally.

The club is still required to pay the visiting team’s share back to the league, though. That amount is 34 percent of face value.

One team source suggested this was a problem for many teams. Also, this source said, for teams with personal seat license holders, selling highly discounted tickets creates appearance issues with the fans who spent significant sums for their seats.

Hmm.

For PSL owners it is more than an appearance problem. Nothing pisses me off more than opposing fans flooding the stadium with discount tickets paying 30% of what the PSL owners paid. Or folks bragging about how they got the same level seat I did for 5 bucks. Sure I don't blame them for doing it, but it still pisses me off.

    • Honestly Bryce is a conundrum right now I'm not really sure what we should do with him but I am content on him being the quarterback number one going into next season. I think we should allow him the chance to play out the season to prove that he's the quarterback he can be going into next season.  I would not waste a high draft pick on a quarterback because I'm not sure anyone in this up and coming class is as good or has the ceiling that he had with that said I wouldn't throw away the future I would bring in someone like Justin Fields to have him looking over his shoulder and give us a plan b if everything doesn't go right on a one-year deal. I think the priority right now if tepper wants to make a big splash is find a way to get Travis Hunter that would be option 1AA because he helps with both sides of the field either way whatever you need defense or offense. Make that happen and then go mostly defense the rest of the way and we're cooking.
