Hendo and DJ are OK. However, neither are top notch players.

I still think that passing on Lopez for DJ (when we desperately needed a big) was a bad move.

I just don't have a lot of confidence in their ability to draft....hope they prove me wrong.

It became public knowledge after Larry Brown was fired that MJ was lobbying for and wanted to draft Brook Lopez, but Larry wanted DJ..so you can't blame him for that.

No, but both are producing about consistently with their draft position. So MJ might have hit a couple of singles with those guys.

Really draft picks haven't been put into a good position to succeed in Charlotte.

You had the Bickerstaff years where there wasn't much veteran leadership. Then the Sam Vincent debacle. Then LB came in and refuses to play young guys.

Now Ammo was going to be a failure regardless of what club he went to. But I would say that MJ has been at least acceptable as the GM when it comes to the draft in recent years.

He still gets absolutely reamed every time he makes a trade.

Well DJ and Hendo are both starters.

Of the 11 players picked in front of Hendo in 2009, only 5 are starters in the NBA. Griffin, Evans, Curry, Derozan, and Jennings.
