I call BS. If you make 30k right now that's easy to say. If you made a 100k you wouldn't be living in a $500/month apartment. Your cost of living increases with your earnings.

Just depends on how you see your life. If your delusional like Fiz then even 1% less is too much. The fact is if you gave me a deal to take a guys place for 2 year and make 80K when he made 100K I would be happy to do that. If you asked me to take a pay cut of 20% to insure I have a job in the future then yes I would take that cut.

What I'm trying to say is I would much rather take a pay cut then not get paid at all. I'm not a rock star and I don't need 6 houses with 6 baby mommas. So thus I don't have to live pay check to pay check if its 30K or Millions.

Look at the economy and from Lawyers to laborers everyone has taken less money. Why not the NFL?
