Schwartz: More than 50 players showed up for workouts

That matches what Moose was saying on his radio show today. That is the most I have heard for any team. Great news in my opinion. Bunch of guys that are out to prove they are ready to ball.

The Panthers were the last team in the NFC South to gather in this odd offseason. Atlanta, New Orleans and Tampa Bay have already held player-led workouts.

Nah, all 3 of those teams have established systems. It's easy to jump in and pick up where they left off.

at this point, I think any concern is splitting hairs.. football is a long ways away.

why? sounds like those things were just thrown together. this one sounds like it had a lot of planning.

how long did those teams have workouts? this is going to be 8 days over the course of a couple weeks.

how many people showed up for theirs? how many showed up for this one?

sorry....not much to be discouraged about.

I agree Rayzor. This one seems more organized and I would imagine more will get done. I would like to see how Cam is in the huddle and if he can call up a play and execute it.

Since there are only 52 players on an active NFL roster, I'd say that most (if not all) of the current players actually attended this workout..

A good sign to say the least.

I also agree. Cam has spent a good amount of time learning the new system and executing it. Now he can meet with the rest of the team and apply it

well...there are about 80 on the roster right now and that number will grow a little as they head into training camp.

probably a good few of them (esp. if they know what's good for them) are guys who are on the fringe and didn't make the active roster last year. PS guys and such.

well, I know I could figure out how to organize these events.. so I'm assuming the leaders of the team can as well.
