He instantly improved our special teams and is relatively cheap. He may be our field goal kicker of the future. Of course we keep him. It worked out very well last year.

BTW no one kicks the ball out of the endzone that often in December. Those balls are like rocks when they are frozen.

why get rid of him? The only good reason to cut him is if Kasey retires, and we sign a good young kicker. Besides that, we need his leg. Don't you remember that horrific special teams we had 2 years ago, when the opposing team avg. starting field position was around the 35 yard line?

Lloyd does more than kickoffs, he keeps Kasay and Baker's legs fresh. For an old guy like Kasay, that's extremely important.

absolutly, we keep him. gives opposing teams bad field position. and keeps kickoff returners from being a homerun threat.

At least you have 6 turnovers in the playoffs to use on that one. Lloyd was nothing but excellent for us this year. So he takes the spot of someone else who wouldn't play on ST's, he is much more valuable than he is being given credit for...
