NBA Finals: Miami Heat vs. Dallas Mavericks

Other than Laker fans who act like middle school soccer moms when it is suggested that someone is better than Kobe, no one really hated LeBron James until he left Cleveland via The Decision. Unless King Taharqa was the one who convinced him to do that, you can hardly give him credit for the Huddle/America for making LeBron and the Heat the NBA villains.

Thank you. If I never existed on this board, I guarantee you people would still be pulling against LeBron. Most sports fans are gonna hate and do what the media tells them. Tell me one athlete that was heavily scrutinized in the media nationally that folks on the Huddle backed and supported. There are none. Thats not to single out the huddle, just showing how much the sports media shapes perception. The over-the-top hate King is getting is a testament to that. There's athletes who've commited crimes who are more liked right now.

Dude, the media is responsible for causing the hate... not telling people TO hate. Had they never aired his lame special, had they never sucked his nuts day after day after day, had they never acted as if he's the best player in the NBA (he's not, Kobe gets that honor), fans wouldn't have got SICK of LeBron. Yes, now it's trendy to hate him in the media, but don't forget that the media started out loving him and they alone are responsible for people's sourness towards your "king". Same reason people hate the Yankees and Red Sox.

do you have the same fuging reading comprehension problem that KT does? nowhere was I referring to the media and how the nation might feel, again, I was talking 100% about just the huddle.

get it? or would you like me to dumb it down just a little more?

So what you're saying is that the Huddle's opinions are normally contradictory to the national sentiment of the sports media? You really believe that?

32.4 points, 7.4 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks

Stat line from the finals against the Magic.

Lebron has scored 11 points in the 4th quarter in 5 games. Kobe destroyed the magic in 5 games.

Are the 2008 Orlando Magic playing in the NBA finals this year?

So you didn't hate LeBron until you read King Taharqa's posts about him, and you are speaking for everyone else in the Huddle with the same opinion. I see.
