Tornado warning just expired... but wind gusts of 70mph still possible.

Damn thing came over my house down here in Belmont. Sounded like a freight train. Tree limbs all over my yard and in my pool.

that gust of wind scared the poo out of me there is a 70mph squall line it's like a fuging derecho. About 9:55 a huge gust of wind rocked the house.

That thing would have looked evil in the day time.

The storm front is the most dangerous part right now that could def eff up tents and stuff.

those same storms hit us about four hours earlier in metro atlanta, around 6pm. my girlfriend and i spent three hours trying to console a schizophrenic girl that was trapped in the elevator between floors when power went out to our condo building in atlanta. then came what must have been at least 75 mph gusts and she could hear the sound inside the elevator. girl was losing her mind. 911 putting people on hold. ems finally arrived after three hours with no fire support.

a few trees down, lots of limbs. we watched transformers or whatever those things are on power lines explore over and over for hours last night.

We got no damage at our house, but down the street there were limbs blown everywhere, a tree cracked on one major section, and a power pole blown in half.
