I would completely understand if he had one agent for football, one for clothing endorsements, one for television appearances, one for food endorsements, etc because they are all different markets and a specialist might be best but this is football.

Seems the only reason this dude is hanging around is because he was his brother's agent and really serves no purpose above what Bus Cook could do.

Just seems unnecessary. He has more of everything than the normal draft pick and even more than the #1 draft pick. Everyone is trying to get their piece of the Cam cash cow and eventually it'll catch up to him.

Never said that. In fact, I support Cam and hope he does well for the reason you put it- he is our franchise QB. However, it is a little embarrassing when people in the fanbase compare him to God for whatever he does. As I recall in another thread (I frequently read this site, just don't post much), something along the lines of "Cam is Jesus' personal savior".

And to keep this somewhat along the lines of this thread, as I reiterate the point that I support Cam, I'm glad he's going to take part in these workouts. Hopefully he can really get the playbook down and work out with the WRs. Possibly even get DWill's heart back into Carolina.

They're all the same agent, they just handle different aspects. Some people keep all their endorsements within the same company, or use a marketing firm attached to their agent, or they're like lebron james where they let their best friends tell them what to do.

On top of that, Cam also has handlers provided by the team who are with him basically night and day. These guys jobs is to set up and manage interviews, so he never gives a bad answer or is never asked something like "have you stopped beating your wife?"

also Cam is more than just another number 1 pick. He's a QB and while maybe you think he should just be another dude that's not reality in today's NFL, especially for a player like him.

Stafford had the same treatment where the lions told him to stop getting photographed drunk at boat parties on lake lanier.
