Ray Lewis speaks on Lockout

Recommended Posts

I think what Ray was trying to imply, or at least how I took it was that the people who depend on the NFL for work, concessions, parking, maintenance etc. won't have the income that they normally would if there was no strike. Some of these people may resort to crime to try and support their families.

That's the way I took it anyway.

Criminal #1: I'm so excited!

Criminal #2: Me too, friend. It's Sunday! Let's watch the game together!

Criminal #1: Yep! Then we will watch highlights on ESPN all night long, and sit in front of the computer and hit the message boards too!

Criminal #2: Don't forget Tweeting all night and all day Monday as well, and getting excited for next weeks games! I love having this stable way of life set up for me during the NFL season!

Criminal #1: I know, right? If it weren't for the NFL, I'd be out doing my normal crimes... but even MORE. Thank you, NFL, for keeping me busy a few days out of the week... what's that? LOCKOUT!?!?!?!?!?

Criminal #2: What will we ever do now?

Ray Lewis: "...watch how much evil, which we call crime, watch how much crime picks up, if you take away our game. There's nothing else to do..."

Criminal #1 and #2: Ray is so right! There is nothing else to do! Our whole lives are the NFL and crime. Let's go do our thing!

THE END

That was pretty funny. Nice job.
